WSA doesn't publish a one-size-fits-all rate card — because your business isn't one-size-fits-all. Here's exactly how our pricing works and what to expect.
All 3PL providers price across the same core buckets. Here's what each one covers — and what typical San Diego market ranges look like.
Charged when inbound shipments arrive at the warehouse. Covers unloading, counting, inspecting, and checking inventory into your bin locations.
Monthly fee for the space your inventory occupies. WSA prices by pallet position or bin location depending on product size and turn rate.
Per-order fee covers the labor to pick items from shelves, pack them, apply labels, and stage for carrier pickup. A per-item charge applies for multi-line orders.
Kitting, assembly, serialization, software provisioning, pad printing, relabeling, and repacking. Quoted per project based on complexity and cycle time.
Use your own carrier account, or sign up for WSA's preferred carrier rates — competitive discounts WSA has negotiated that you can access directly. WSA's system rate-shops across all major carriers automatically.
Per-unit receiving fee plus any refurbishing or repackaging labor. WSA's device repair background means we restore products other 3PLs would discard.
Higher volume and simpler products drive costs down. Complexity in SKUs, packaging, or services drives them up — and that's where WSA adds the most value.
Higher monthly orders = lower per-order cost. Volume is the single biggest lever in your quote.
More SKUs with similar profiles are manageable. Highly varied sizes, weights, or configurations add labor.
Standard polybag or box? Simple. Heat-seal clamshell, custom shipper, or retail compliance? More labor per unit.
Serialization, software provisioning, and kitting are billed separately. They're complex — and they're where WSA earns its keep.
Seasonal swell, large format SKUs, or pallet-in/pallet-out bulk storage all affect monthly storage fees.
Illustrative estimate for a mid-size ecommerce brand with standard DTC fulfillment. Your quote will vary.
Based on standard DTC profile: poly mailer packing, single SKU pick, no value-added services. Kitting, serialization, or provisioning are scoped separately.
We're selective about clients because we're deeply involved with each one. Here's who we work best with — and who might be better served elsewhere.
Not sure? Call us anyway — we'll tell you honestly if we're the right fit.
Because a rate card would be wrong for almost every prospect. A brand shipping 200 DTC orders of a single SKU has a completely different cost structure than a brand with 800 SKUs shipping to 30 countries with kitting and serialization. Publishing generic rates would either overprice simple operations or wildly underprice complex ones — and we'd rather build a quote that's actually accurate for you.
Setup and onboarding fees depend on integration complexity — a simple Shopify connection may have no setup cost, while a custom EDI or ERP integration does. Contract terms are discussed during the quote process. We scope everything upfront so there are no surprises once you're operational.
Value-added services like kitting, serialization, and software provisioning are scoped per project. We'll time the labor required per unit, factor in materials and equipment, and quote a per-unit or per-hour rate before any work begins. There are no surprises — you approve the scope before it starts.
There's no hard order minimum, but our model works best for brands shipping 200+ orders per month, or operations involving 10+ SKUs, value-added services, or complex logistics requirements. Very early-stage brands may find our pricing doesn't pencil out at low volume — we'll tell you honestly if that's the case during the quote conversation.
You can use your own carrier account, or sign up for WSA's preferred carrier rates — competitive discounts WSA has negotiated that clients can access directly. WSA's system automatically rate-shops across all major carriers for the lowest rate on every shipment. Either way, you get full visibility on shipping costs.
Most clients receive a custom quote within 24 hours of initial contact. More complex operations involving custom integrations, specialized value-added services, or large SKU catalogs may take slightly longer to scope properly. We'll always give you a timeline when you reach out.
Tell us about your operation and we'll put together a real number — tailored to your volume, SKUs, and services.
